Browserbase Raises $40M Series B

Following their $21 million Series A in November 2024, Browserbase has closed a $40 million Series B, led by Notable Capital with participation from CRV and Kleiner Perkins. Companies like Airtable, Instacart, Notion, Stripe, Perplexity, and Vercel already rely on Browserbase's infrastructure, and this round will accelerate their growth.

Alongside the fundraise, Browserbase launched Director — a no-code platform that makes web automation accessible to everyone, not just developers. Users describe web tasks in natural language and Director generates scripts using Stagehand, Browserbase's open-source web automation framework, that deploy directly on their cloud infrastructure.

When we first invested, we believed browser infrastructure would become a critical building block for AI-powered applications. That thesis is playing out.

Congratulations to the Browserbase team!
