Hedra Raises $32M Series A

Founded by Michael Lingelbach, Hedra's Character-3 model has become widely popular for AI character-driven content, including the viral talking-baby podcast trend, enabling creators to produce videos featuring expressive AI characters.

Since launching their first video model in June 2024, Hedra has seen significant momentum. The March 2025 release of Character-3 drove substantial user growth and attracted investors including Index Ventures, Abstract Ventures, and Amazon's Alexa Fund.
