Medra Launch Covered by Endpoints News
Our portfolio company Medra has publicly launched their Continuous Science Platform, with coverage in Endpoints News and BusinessWire.
Founded by Stanford PhD Michelle Lee, Medra has been building since 2021. Their platform uses AI to automate lab equipment — able to automate 70% of common lab instrument types, compared to traditional automation systems that cover only 5-10%.
Medra raised $11 million from Neo and Lux Capital, with notable investors including Arc Institute co-founder Patrick Hsu and former GitHub CEO Nat Friedman. The company has grown to 20 employees from organizations including Tesla, Amazon, Nimble Robotics, Neuralink, and Scale AI.
We've supported Medra since the beginning, and it's been incredible to watch them go from stealth to scaling their continuous science platform across the biotech industry.
